CSFF: Hunter Brown & the Secret of the Shadow

Song Stuck on the Brain: Chorus of the Saints by Revive

This month the CSFF is featuring:

Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to read this book before blogging. However, it is available to read for free on their website and I have to say, I reaaaalllly want to read it. It looks fantastic. I'm thinking my nephew and nieces will love it too. (All the more reason for me to buy a copy.) Be sure to visit the Code Bearers website, there are videos, chat rooms and a whole lot more to keep you entertained (it's also where you can read the book... For Free!)

About the Book:

Strange visions...hideous monsters...startling revelations... Hunter Brown never expected a summer like this, and it’s only getting started! After one of his infamous pranks backfires, Hunter unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient book and key. Little does he know the mysterious book is a gateway to Solandria, a supernatural realm held captive by the Shadow. In Solandria, Hunter joins forces with the Codebearers, a band of highly trained warriors who form the Resistance to the Shadow. But before he can complete his training in the ways of the Code of Life, Hunter is sent on a mission far more dangerous than he ever bargained for. Now with his life in peril and the future of Solandria hanging in the balance, Hunter is headed for a showdown with the Shadow and a battle to save his soul from a fate worse than death! Is Hunter’s knowledge of the Code deep enough to uncover the secret of the Shadow, or will the truth be more than he can bear?

About the Authors:

spent over 30 years in Christian Bookstores and book clubs operated by their parents, learning first hand the value of faith-based stories throughout their childhood. Today, they carry forward a passion to bring to life stories that inspire and illuminate the truth of God's Word in a fresh way. Wanna know more? Read their backstory blog post.

Hi, April. I think you might like this one too, and I really think your nephews would if they like fantasy. Great story, as you can tell from the video trailers. Cool web site, wasn't it?
