Win The Meeting of Anni Adams by Lonnie D. Story

Win a copy of The Meeting of Anni Adams:

The Butterfly of Luxemborg by Lonnie D. Story

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Born November 11, 1926 Anni Adams grew up traveling throughout central Europe with her professional gymnast father. By the age of 14 she had been throughout Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and France. Then came Nazi invasion.

Everything Anni had known came unraveling at the seams. Evacuated from Luxembourg, she survived the poverty, humiliation, and uncertainty of refugee camps following the German occupation of her homeland. She eventually returned to her home and the submissive lifestyle of the Nazi rule, which she quietly resisted for more than 4 years.

Author Lonnie D. Story skillfully interweaves a riveting account of Anni's life story and the history-in-the-making events that surrounded her. Throughout her long and successful life, Anni has had great tragedy and suffering. The Meeting of Anni Adams is a true story of survival and the American dream come true.

I don't need entered in the contest but wanted you all to know I finished reading it the third week of February. I thought it was outstanding in detailed history. The book has many examples of determination for survival and close family ties even in the face of tremendous odds. I intend to go back and read it again someday. That usually means in my vocabulary, it was a good book indeed if I plan to go back and read it again.
